The third and fourth generations
Facilette is run today by father and daughter, Patrik and Elna Fajersson. Patrik, Managing Director and the third generation, has many years of experience in the company. Elna, the fourth generation, handles new customers and enquiries. Together they carry forward what the family has built since 1952.
Our history began in 1952
In 1952 Gösta Fajersson bought a few second-hand sewing machines and founded Silkeskonfektion in Väring, near Skövde. He soon began sewing clothing in the new material nylon, which attracted a great deal of interest. The company grew quickly and outgrew its premises.
In 1959 Gösta's son Gert-Åke Fajersson joined the company, and it was decided that the business would move to Lidköping. In 1964 production started at Kinnegatan 13, and the name became Facilette. Production moved increasingly from clothing to technical textiles.
Today Facilette AB is run by Gert-Åke's son Patrik Fajersson, the third generation, and Patrik's daughter Elna Fajersson, the fourth generation.
