Our history began in 1952
Gösta Fajersson founded Silkeskonfektion in Väring, near Skövde, in 1952, a small sewing business that made nylon clothing. In 1964 the company moved to Kinnegatan 13 in Lidköping and changed its name to Facilette. There it invested in warp knitting and quilting machines and switched to technical textiles.

All production takes place in our factory in Lidköping. That gives us control over every step, from yarn to finished product. When we manufacture in Sweden, the route to customers in Europe is shorter, and the jobs stay in the community.

Meet our team
The factory is staffed by people who know warp knitting, quilting and sewing, and who make sure you get what you ordered. Elna Fajersson handles enquiries, Christer Apelqvist is responsible for warp knitting and Linda Gustavsson for quilting and sewing.
